The human brain is a complex organ composed of a variety of cell types and signaling pathways. Since mature neurons do not undergo cell division again, it is necessary to establish immortalized secondary cell lines derived from neuronal tumors, that is, to acquire the ability to generate in vitro cultures of neuronal cells. The established molecular tools and stem cell line models can mimic the physiology of the brain for a better understanding of neurological diseases and treatment strategies. Based on our excellent primary cells, stem cells, and other cell line models, it would be possible to create in vitro culture systems that mimic in vivo environments.
